WHAT IS ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL

01. FULL-SPEED ACC PLUS ADAPTIVE CRUISE
When the adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) is activated, it can automatically follow the car at any speed (0km/h). When ACC follows the vehicle in front and causes your vehicle to stop, when the vehicle in front starts to move within 2 seconds after your vehicle stops, without any intervention by the driver. PRECAUTIONS WHILE DRIVING WITH ACC
1. OFFSET DRIVING
ACC may not detect a vehicle in the same lane that is offset from your
direct line of travel, or a vehicle merging in from a side lane.There may notbe sufficient distance to the vehicle ahead.The offset vehicle may move inand out of the line of travel,which can cause yourvehicle to brake or accel-erate unexpectedly.
2. TURNS AND BENDS
When driving on a curve with ACC engaged, the system may decrease thevehicle speed and acceleration for stability reasons, with no target vehicledetected.Once the vehicle is out of the curve the system will resume youroriginal set speed.This is a part of normal ACC system functionality
3. USING ACC ON HILLS
ACC performance may be limited when driving on hills.ACC may notdetect a vehicle in your lane depending on the speed, vehicle load, trafficconditions.and the steepness of the hill.
4. LANE CHANGING
ACC may not detect a vehicle until it is completely in the lane in which youare traveling. In the lane changing example below,ACC has not yet detect-ed the vehicle changing lanes and it may not detect the vehicle until it'stoo late for the ACC system to take action.ACC may not detect a vehicleuntil it is completely in the lane.There may not be sufficient distance tothe lane-changing vehicle.Always be attentive and ready to apply thebrakes if necessary.
5. NARROW VEHICLES
Some narrow vehicles, such as motorcycles, traveling near the outer
edges of the lane or merging into the lane are not detected until they havemoved to the center of the lane.There may not be sufficient distance tothe vehicle ahead.
6. STATIONARY OBJECTS AND VEHICLES
ACC does not react to stationary objects and stationary vehicles. For ex-ample, ACC will not react in situations where the vehicle you are followingexits your lane and the vehicle ahead is stopped in your lane.Always beattentive and readv to apblv the brakes if necessarv.
